Cyclospora Outbreak Reaches 5,002 Cases Across 5 States
The CDC has confirmed 5,002 cases of Cyclospora cayetanensis infection linked to shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Fresh Foods (Taylor Farms de Mexico) in Guanajuato, Mexico. 94 hospitalizations have been reported. Michigan remains the epicenter with 5,002 cases. Indiana (412), Ohio (387), Kentucky (198), and West Virginia (89) are also affected. No deaths have been reported.
